Jacob Dadi is Amara Conservation’s Field Project Coordinator, handling the planning and execution of school and community events, projects, and activities in and around Tsavo. As a member of the Taita Taveta community, Dadi understands the concerns and issues facing his neighbors as well as those in other communities, and regularly assists the team in creating lasting solutions that will help both humans and wildlife coexist peacefully.

Dadi first became involved in wildlife conservation in 2000 as an Elephant Keeper for The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. His experience with a large conservation NGO paired with his passion for the field brought him to the Amara team in 2007.

When he’s not busy planning Amara’s field activities, Dadi enjoys his role as husband and father of two.
